- 2Choose “Statements” (or “Get statement”) and set the date range.
- 3Pick PDF as the format and download it.
Menu names change from time to time; see wise.com for the current steps.
What makes Wise statements tricky
- Each currency balance has its own statement; convert them one by one to keep currencies apart.
- Conversions show the exchange rate and fee inside the description, which stays intact in the output.
- Amounts are signed and followed by a running balance, so every row can be reconciled.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I convert a Wise statement to Excel?
- Download the statement PDF from Wise online banking, drop it onto this page and choose Excel or CSV once the transactions appear. Most statements take a few seconds.
- Is it safe to upload my Wise statement?
- Files travel over HTTPS and are converted by our own software, with no AI services involved. They're deleted automatically after 24 hours (72 if the conversion fails, so we can fix it), and you can delete them yourself right away.
- Does PDFGenie check the Wise balances?
- Yes. Each transaction is checked against the running balance where the statement prints one, and the opening/closing balances otherwise. Rows that don't add up are flagged so you can review them.
- Can I convert scanned statements?
- Yes. Pages without a text layer (scans and photos saved as PDF) are read with OCR on our own servers, and sideways or upside-down pages are turned upright. PDFs downloaded from online banking are still the most accurate, and the balance check flags any row OCR may have misread.
